The Manō Collective Difference
Traveling with Manō Collective means more than just adventure — it’s about connection, conservation, and craft. Our expeditions are led by marine experts, photographers, and storytellers who help you experience the ocean in a deep and responsible way. Co-founders Olivia Miller and Andrew Aggergaard hand-pick every operator we work with, vetting them for safety, ethics, and respect for wildlife. Our trips are timed at specific times of the year to avoid crowds and explore secluded dive sites that most boats don’t venture to, creating a truly unique experience.

Currency
The currency in Indonesia is IDR. Credit cards are not super reliable there so we recommend getting cash if your bank carries it. If not there are currency exchanges and ATMs in the airports that actually aren’t a horrible rip off and there are ATMs in town as well.Power Convertors
In Indonesia, the power adaptors they use are type F and type C.Gear
Our host dive shop has everything for rent but you can bring any bits that you want personally or all of your own gear! Things we would recommend bringing are your own mask and snorkel, dive computer if you have one, and wetsuit. The water is pretty warm there, I usually freeze scuba diving no matter what I wear but there I was very comfortable in a 3.0mm. The water temp is roughly 84-88 degrees, the hottest we felt was around 90 degrees. With the crazy currents there the water temperature varies a lot. Gear rental is not included in the trip cost. -
A typical day onboard starts with a light breakfast, a good cup of coffee and a beautiful sunrise over Komodo. The Dive Master conducts a dive briefing 20min before arrival of each dive site. We dive and then come back for a fabulous lunch. After the lunch break the boat cruises to the next site for the afternoon dive. After the last dive, the cooking team serves a delicious dinner. There is plenty of time to lounge and relax in between dives.
